UROC Innovations Lab is pleased to host Hailee Hunter (left, Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Arizona) and Peyton Messina (right, Biomedical Engineering, University of Utah) this summer! Hailee, participating in the Native American Research Internship, is working to develop a drug delivery system for sustained release of synthetic glycosaminoglycans to treat upper and lower respiratory diseases. Peyton, participating in the Summer Program for Undergraduate Research, is working to develop novel immune-modulating anti-cancer agents for head and neck squamous cell carcinomas. We look forward to the laboratory alchemy created by these two.
